They are both similar in their homage to classic 80s thrash, but Point Of... has superior riffage and is an example of how only a handful of bands, past or present, know how to get those head banging riffs just right. I have NEVER heard a Mental Slavery release that disappoints. This is no exception. Riffs that can be measured in metric tons, pace that can be expressed in G-Force. This is possibly the most accessible release if you're new to Mental Slavery, but I'd recommend purchasing EVERYTHING they've released. FFO groove-heavy metal like Pantera with a dose of Municipal Waste and Burton-era Metallica. shedoverheels

Very strong well-prepared old school thrash metal reminding mid 80th. Nevertheless there is a big disadvantage - this band is from Russia, so I would call it Putin-metal. Unfortunately it's hard to perceive Russian bands apart from that political background. Ievgen
